The Ft. Lauderdale Airport is both closer and the less busy of the two airports. Make sure to look at both airports for the best airfare and take into consideration that the Miami International Airport is minimum of 45 - 60 minutes by car, depending upon traffic.

For flights into/out of the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, please use the following guidelines:

If you will be traveling from the west coast you may want to consider arriving a day early to ensure a timely arrival. Embarkation for boarding will begin around 12 pm. Boarding will close at 3:30 pm. You must check-in at least 90 minutes prior to the ship’s departure to avoid the risk of automatic cancellation and denied boarding.

Helpful Cruise Hint:  The longest lines are always at the start of embarkation. If you arrive between 2:00 - 3:00 pm the lines, and crowds, will be much smaller.

TAXI SERVICE

The approximate cost of a taxi ride to/from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport will cost $15 - $25. When traveling from Miami expect to pay more.

CAR RENTALS

Most car rental companies provide courtesy shuttles to/from the cruise terminal. Please check with your preferred rental company prior to making reservations to ensure they offer this service.

Fort Lauderdale International Airport: 2 miles or approximately 5 minutes.

Miami International Airport: 30 miles or approximately 45 minutes.

Yes there are specific age requirements

• Infants must be at least 3 month old at the time of sailing.
  
  
• Guests under the age of 21 must be traveling with a parent or responsible adult AND must be booked in the same stateroom or a connecting cabin.
  
  
• Guests under the age of 21 traveling with a guardian 21 years or older, (who is not a parent, grandparent or court-appointed legal guardian), you MUST bring an original signed letter from the absent parent/legal guardian authorizing the minor to travel with you. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security. Please note that a notarized letter to this effect is highly suggested.

Please note that adult guests are responsible for the safety and behavior of their minor guests.

Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.
